The hotel's location in downtown São Paulo is indeed convenient, allowing easy access to the vibrant Mercado Municipal for local delights. However, I must address certain areas that fell short of expectations. The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired, with dusty surfaces and dirty linens. The need for a remodel was evident throughout the property, impacting the overall guest experience.While the comfortable bed and varied breakfast options were appreciated, the lack of attention to detail in housekeeping and maintenance detracted from the hotel's potential. For the price paid, the value proposition of the Grande Hotel Universo Palace may not align with the luxury experience expected. Future guests should carefully weigh the cost against the hotel's offerings before making a decision.
